I've played around with this design of this necklace for a couple of years.  I wanted another pearl necklace tha didn't look like the "classic pearl necklace".  Like my Scrumptious design, I used leather with pearls to represent a more modern aesthetic.  In my eyes, pearls and leather are opposites that attract and should always be juxtaposed.
